Volvo Workshop Standard Information
TOOL CLASSIFICATION
C1 and C1-Electric = Tools that are sent to all workshops.
C1-Die
= Tools that are sent to all workshops on diesel markets.
C2 and C2-Electric
= Tools that are not sent to the workshops that have a written routine and deal with a repair shop that has these tools. Contracts and routine made up together with market sales company, which also should have copies. A tool can be shared between a maximum of five workshops.
C2-Die
= Tools that are not sent to workshops on diesel markets that have a written routine and deal with a repair shop that has these tools. Contracts and routine made up together with market sales companies that also should have copies. A tool can be shared between a maximum of five workshops.
C-Body = Tools that are sent to all body repair shops.
C-Equipm = Equipment that are required to have at the workshop, but the workshop can buy it on the free market. See in Dealer Development Platform (DDP) for the equipment that is required.
Some equipment’s it’s mandatory to meet the specification in Service Product Journal (SPJ). On the Volvo Special Tool site shows only the equipment that are available to order.
